“GIs and the Kids - A Love Story: US Forces and the Children of Korea 1950-1954”

This is a professionally prepared photographic exhibit consisting of 35 panels approximately 48” wide by 22” tall.  The topic is the relationship of the American Armed Forces and the children of Korea during the war years.

The exhibit comes packaged in a wheeled shipping container that meets UPS standards for ground or air shipping. The container weighs approximately 110 lbs.

The exhibit needs approximately 100 linear feet to be displayed properly. It can be hung by nylon fishing line from grommets located in the top corners of each panel.

There is no charge for use of the exhibit. Maximum time for use of the exhibit is three weeks (not counting shipping time). A rental fee of $100 per week shall be charged for late return.

The exhibit will be loaned to interested organizations on the following basis:

  • Organization borrowing the exhibit will be responsible for shipping costs from Rantoul, Illinois, and its return.
  • Organization borrowing the exhibit will accept liability for damage or loss of the exhibit while in their custody. For insurance purposes the exhibit is valued at $3,000.

A poster for advertising the exhibit is available as a PDF file. It will be sent to parties that make arrangements to show the exhibit. Sample press releases will be provided to organizations showing the exhibit.
