Ryan Yantis Ryan Yantis, a retired U.S. Army officer and former executive director of Chicago’s award-winning Pritzker Military Library, accepted appointment as the executive director of the KWNM on Feb. 18, 2010. Yantis, who served in South Korea (1988-89), has an extensive background in management, leadership and communications, and will be seeking to revitalize fundraising, operational and organizational efforts of the museum. Christine Hansley Chris Hansley brings great expereince in administration and data processing to our team. Located in our Chicago office, Chris is working on consolidating our administrative fundtions, files and is helpin with veteran outreach and other operational needs. Sharee Pemberton Sharee Pemberton is a dynamic addition to the KWNM team as a contract development coordinator. She is working on our special events, fundraising and other outreach activities. Sharee brings a great deal of knowledge and skills to the KWNM team and is helping us raise money and visibility for our mission. Nicolaas Kitsch Nicolaas joined the KWNM as the new managing curator of the Denis J. Healy Center located in Springfield, Illinois. Nicolaas is an Army veteran with significant museum and art curation experience. In addition to his work at the DJHFC, he attends the University of Illinois Springfield where he is majoring in History and will graduate next spring. In addition to his duties with the Collection, he works with volunteers, visitors and guests to provide a great experience. Thomas Kenny Managing Curator, Denis J. Healy Freedom Center Joining the team at the Denis J. Healy Freedom Center in Springfield is Thomas M. Kenny of Donnellson, IL. Tom recently completed his studies at Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL, with a BA in History. An avid student of history, Tom will be assisting with the Collection as a Museum Assistant, greeting visitors and assisting members.
